Big Bend Dark Sky Photography Experience

Life is best when you are camping. 

We will meet at Punyelroo Caravan Park to prepare our tents.  You will take part of photography sesion to have a better understanding of Night Photography, you will feel ready to capture the amazing dark sky at night. 

Our experience will start at sunset on the river facing the Big Bend Cliffs, where we will have some appetisers while watching the changing colours of the sandstone cliffs as the sun goes down. Bring your favourite drink to enjoy and watch the beauty of the landscape. All dinner food is included. 

As the twilight recedes you will be transported in style and comfort in a gypsy style cart to the rustic pine shearing shed to enjoy main course and dessert. 

After dinner you will take part of a Nocturnal and Dark Sky Night Tour where you will experience one of the world's most pristine areas of night sky, where you will be able to capture the Milky Way.  The low levels of light pollution in this area are ideal for an exceptional experience. 

We will head back to the Caravan Park where you can extend your practice taking more photos at night or going to your tent for a great sleep surrounded by nature. 

After breakfast on Sunday we will take part of a guided tour of Ngaut Ngaut Aboriginal Reserve, one of Australia's most significant archaeological sites, great photo opportunities. We will finish the retreat by having lunch together at around 2pm.
