About the event

Jamestown is a charming rural town located in the heart of some of South Australia's most productive agricultural land. Located on the banks of the Belalie Creek it is a prosperous town with a main tree-lined street. The town was the birthplace of R.M.Williams, the famous outback clothing maker. The main attraction near the town is the exceptional Bundaleer Forest Reserve which is particularly impressive in autumn. We will have a variety of opportunities to capture inspiring history, landscapes, people and places.

We will also explore Peterborough, a town full of history. We will take part of a guided tour at the Steamtown Heritage Centre where we will wander through magnificently restored carriages filled with ornate polished wood and beautifully decorated dining cars. These trains are exhibited in original settings so you can fully appreciate the history surrounding these marvellous pieces of engineering brilliance. To make it even more interesting for your camera, we will take part of the light and sound show at night.
