About the event
Melrose is the oldest town in the Flinders Ranges. This beautiful town is nestled below the stunning 960m high peak of Mount Remarkable, providing the perfect backdrop for many historical buildings and the best nature photography opportunities.
We will explore and capture the dramatic beauty of Mount Remarkable National Park, its high ochre ridges, deep gorges and watercourses lined with river red gums.
Accomodation has been planned to offer great social interaction and organised activities. We will have all the facilities for our group at "Under The Mount" offering private and shared ensuite style rooms with a communal meeting area with kitchen facilities and a separate barn style lounge/games area. Located within walking distance to all the essential attractions within the township of Melrose.
Winter is a great season to capture the beauty of nature and landscape, end the day at the bonfire sharing photos with like minded people. Come join us!!
