A winter night full of adventures. Come join us to explore Illuminate display of creative lights, great opportunity to practice your night photography. Gather around the firelight and journey through a wonderland of captivating flaming sculpture as Adelaide Botanic Garden presents “Fire Gardens”.

About the event
Illuminate Adelaide brings bright lights and big adventures to the streets of Adelaide. A celebration of art, music and technology from across the country and the world, Illuminate Adelaide will spark your imagination and reignite a sense of wonder. Great opportunity to practice your photography.
We will walk to inspiring spots in the city to explore and capture light in a creative way. You will get one on one support to capture your vision.
We will finish the night taking part of journey through a wonderland of captivating flaming sculpture as Adelaide Botanic Garden takes on new surprises when painted with the palette of fire (ticket included).
What to bring:
Camera
Spare battery
Tripod (suggested, not essential)
Short lens
Comfortable walking shoes
Warm clothes
A group dinner is scheduled at 5:30pm at The Little Hunter on 25 Victoria Steeet, Adelaide before we start the excursion, participation is optional (meal cost not included on ticket price). Enjoying a meal together is the perfect time to bond, it allows a time to share what we are passionated about and will leave you with a smile to start exploring.
You can bring any camera to this excursion, even a phone camera is great. Allow yourself to enjoy your photography and have fun!
