Get ready for a one-of-a-kind photography adventure where the ocean meets outback magic. Join us for a weekend based right at the iconic Point Lowly Lighthouse — perched on the edge of the Spencer Gulf with uninterrupted views of the coastline, epic sunsets, and endless stars overhead.
We will explore the incredible spectacle of the giant cuttlefish aggregation – thousands of vibrant creatures gathering in the shallow waters just metres from shore. From a glass boat photography tour to optional snorkelling adventure (select the add on ticket for this adventure!) you’ll have a front-row seat to one of nature’s most surreal events.
We’ll also take time to explore the rugged coastline, saltbush-covered landscapes, and the industrial beauty of nearby Whyalla’s port – perfect for creative contrasts and storytelling through your lens. During the evening we will enjoy good food, share images, and connect with fellow creatives under the Milky Way.
Stay with us in cozy group accommodation at Point Lowly – walk outside with your morning coffee and you’re already on location.
Shared accomodation is part of the experience. Some single rooms and others for two people. Shared facilities.
