The Bend - A Fun Photography Experience

A fun weekend with great opportunities to practice your photography. Cars, speed, design, everything under the same roof at The Bend Motorsport Park, inspired by some of the world’s most iconic race circuits, The Bend’s motor racing circuit is Australia’s only circuit to comply with the latest FIA Grade 2 and FIM Category A standards. The Auto Gallery showcases an incredible range of unique road and racing cars and bikes that will inspire your creative eye. 

This weekend is a treat fro you, stay the night at Rydges Pit Lane Hotel situated in the main building of Australia’s world-class motorsports facility. Great rooms, delicious food. 

You don’t need a licence to enjoy all the fun and excitement of go-karting here at The Bend Motorsport Park. Take the wheel on the exhilarating outdoor track and reach speeds of up to 70km/h during a 20minute go-karting race. If you don't like the adrenaline of speed, use this opportunity to learn panning and practice your shutter speed, you will capture amazing photos. 

Saturday Optional Activity: Tailem Town Ghost Tour, definitely not fo the faint of heart but a great experience in what is by far the most haunted ghost town in South Australia.  

On Sunday, after a nice breakfast at the Rydges, we will explore the biggest Pioneer Village in the Southern Hemisphere, Old Tailem Town was first established in 1982.  See what life was like for the settlers of South Australia from 1860 - 1960. There are over a hundred buildings for you to visit, all furnished within their periods and set in their most natural locations. 

A fun way to spend your weekend and challenge your photography out of your comfort zone.
